I fancied giving myself a challenge and I'd seen a few of these books on other people's blogs - this was the one that inspired me. So I dusted off some of my old Kaisercraft "Le Chateau" papers and set to work. It did take me a while to make but I think it was worth it - it was really satisfying to use up so many papers at once - especially when I have way too many! Anyway this is how it looks from the front:
And this is the inside - the box inside is made from 4 pieces of card that were folded into a concertina shape - this took me ages and drove me mad!!! I decided to decorate it with some punched card although I don't know whether I'd do this again as it made the box a little too small.
And finally the back:
I should really have taken a picture from the side so you could see how thick it was.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
- One stitch at a time - make it pretty
- A spoonful of sugar - anything but a card (I hope this counts)
Gorgeous - I love it! x
